So.. There will still be progress. |
But the knee will still be inherently weak.

I didnt read the whole post because im kind of lazy at the moment, but what you described sounds like classic meniscus issues. Most people I know with meniscus problems have clicking and grinding in the knee when flexing and extending. Also, classic "Medial knee pain". MRI is the way to go. If you are pretty mobile now and everything they can possibly repair it. Its its pretty chewed up and torn, most likely it will have to be removed. I will tell you this, chances are your knee will never be 100 percent. Let us know what is going on.
